Shane Foxman and Gerald Lotzkar have been involved in sports for a very long time, and have both had amazing careers. We had the privilege of interviewing them both for this article.
Mr. Lotzkar has played sports and watched sports all his life. His passion has brought him to be a HPE teacher at VTT. Mr. Lotzkar started to be a HPE teacher at VTT in 2002, and he started teaching many grades. But as the years went on he started teaching less. Currently he teaches grades 3 and 5. Mr. Lotzkar likes to teach all sports, but basketball is his favorite one to coach, and if he could add any, he would add football and hockey. Lotzkar is a very passionate coach that is always open to new ideas. We’re so lucky to have him at VTT!
Shane Foxman was and is a very determined passionate person that follows his dreams. Shane started his broadcasting career in 1989 and ended in 2014. His latest job was at CBC, but he has worked at Global and many more. His favourite thing to broadcast has always been sports, but he stopped broadcasting because CBC announced that they will stop doing sports. Shane had so many amazing experiences and wishes he could go back. When Shane started and ended his career, he never thought he would ever end up at VTT, but his daughter went there, so he decided to go. Shane now makes the sports announcements and runs competitions like Jewpardy and the house team Shavuot Kahoot. Shane is a great addition to the VTT family!
