The History Of Cheese

When you put cheese on your macaroni or cheese on toast. Guda, cheddar, mozzarella, doesn’t matter there all god to eat. But have you ever wondered where it all started? Where did it come from? 

Around 10,000 years ago, a farmer from a village in the middle east was just milking his cow and putting the milk into canisters but he forgot about them for a long time. The heat from the hot desert heated up the milk and a sandstorm blew them around and turned them into cheese curds. When he finally found out, he went back to check on the milk but realized it had turned into a solid. Curious, he tried it and found it tasty. He then began to sell it and it spread everywhere. People treasured it and took it to different countries where it began to sell there. 

So then cheese was booming all around europe and asia and eventually it spread to lots of different countries and during the medieval times people ate it as daily food and made lots of different foods with it including pies, soups and types of pasta including mac and cheese. When it was first created it was very valuable. 

Though we have talked about how it was first created, we have not told you about the many kinds of cheese created since it was first introduced. First up is cheddar. Cheddar originated in the village of Cheddar in 12th century england.  Camembert cheese was created in 1791 in the village of camembert in france, camembert is the blue cheese that really stinks. Next is mozzarella cheese. Mozzarella cheese was believed to be made back in the 12th century, but was most commonly used during the 12th century in Italy

In conclusion, cheese is a very yummy food with a fascinating history and with the different types of cheese there were many varieties of food. Cheese was and is still very popular now.
