How to Solve a Rubiks Cube

People always ask “How do you solve a rubik’s cube?” “How do you solve a rubik’s cube?”. So here I am telling you. but you gotta focus.

There are 7 main steps to solving a rubik’s cube. Firstly, you need to create a white cross on the white center. This step requires you to find the white edges, then you would want to align them ( the white edges) to the other colour centers according to their second color (red, blue, green, and orange).

The second step is to solve the white corners. This step has two main  algorithms R’ D R and L D’ L’. With these algorithms you will solve the white layer in no time. Note: this is not the full step of how to solve the white layer. (There will be a QR code of a video).

The third step is to solve the middle layer. Like the last step, this step has two algorithms. The first algorithm is U’, L’, U, L, U, F, U. The second algorithm is U, R, U’, R’, U’, F, U. Before doing the algorithms, you would want to align the bottom colour with the centers. Note: the first algorithms for the left side, and the second is for the right side.

Now you can solve the first two layers, this step is all about the “yellow cross“. For the yellow you’ll have only one algorithm; F, R, U, R’, U’. But, before you even start, you need to align the layer, if your top layer is random colours and yellow in the middle then you can do the algorithm wherever. After that you would want to rotate the rubik’s cube until you have a Non (נ) at the top left corner. Now, you do the algorithm to reveal a yellow line in the middle. From here you do the same algorithm again.

Now, you have a cross, but you are not done with it, you still need to make the cross in the right place. Guess what, this step will have only one algorithm! Firstly, look for the letter L, this will look like this: yellow at the top and any colour (except from white of cores), then if the colour at the bottom matches the center underneath then you are good to go (for now). Now, look to the right of the colour, if the colour on the right is matching the edge under it then turn the cube towards you so you see the L. From here you need to do R, U, R’, U, R, U, U, R’. if you did that algorithm correctly then all of your edges should be in the right place.

Congratulations! you have two more steps to solving the rubik’s cube. In this step you’ll align the corners so you can finally solve the robik’s cube in the next step. For this step you’ll have one algorithm, and it is R, U’, L’, U, R’, U’, L. Like the yellow cross, this step will require you to align stuff. First, look for the corners that match the colours next to them. For example, look for the yellow, red, and blue, if it’s between the red and the blue then you’re good to go, if not move on to the next corner and check again. Then, turn the cube so the “right” corner is on your left, now you can do the algorithm. Note: you might have to repeat the algorithm more than one time to get all corners “right”.
