Fun facts

Did you know that a cloud weighs around a million tonnes? Random fun facts are facts about the world that can be ridiculous or interesting in the best possible ways and once you start reading them, you can’t stop!

Food Fun Facts

The first category is about food fun facts because everyone loves food. The first fact is about your favorite fast food restaurant–McDonalds! *McDonald’s fans squeal*! Not my favorite though. Did you know that McDonald used to make broccoli flavored bubble gum? I know, that sounds delicious. They did this because they wanted to encourage kids to eat healthier, but they never released it because the taste testers found the flavor a bit strange.

For the second fun fact, we are going to explore how diamonds are made. Did you know that peanut butter can turn into diamonds? You probably are thinking how this is even humanly possible? Well the answer is if you have enough heat and pressure you can make the impossible, turn peanut butter into diamonds (don’t try this at home). Sadly, peanut butter can turn into diamonds, but the diamonds are very tiny and aren’t worth that much money compared to the money you have to spend to transform peanut butter into diamonds, so don’t get too excited.

The third fun fact is about delicious black and white cookies, oreos. Did you know that oreos are actually vegan! I know, I was as shocked as you are right now. Oreos are vegan because they actually don’t contain any milk or eggs. If you still think this is fake, there are many websites about Oreos being vegan, so if you want, you can check it out yourself.

Strange events

The last category of facts is going to be about strange events. The first fact is a very serious fact about ice-cream. In 2015 a woman once called the police because her ice-cream didn’t have enough sprinkles (I would do that too). She was really upset, so she called the police. Luckily, the woman didn’t go to court for doing that.

The second fact is about very rare fear. The fear is hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia which is the fear of long words. This fear is 36 letters long! This fear is also called sesquipedalophobia and it is as hard to pronounce as hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. I don’t know why someone could be scared of long words, but I guess some people are.

The last fact is about war. Don’t get scared, this fact is not violent. Once upon a time in 1651 a Dutch Admiral named Maarten Tromp declared a war between the Netherlands and The Isles of Scilly. The crazy part about it, is that the war lasted 335 years and not a single person died. This is because they never shot anybody and they forgot to sign a peace treaty. The war ended in 1986.

To conclude, fun facts can be terrifically funny and hilarious. If you want to find more cool facts like these ones there are some really cool websites you can visit. I hope you liked the fun facts!
