Aerial Birds, or Aves Fltyismes are very interesting creatures. Some can fly up to 400 kilometers per hour, some can fly up to 2 kilometers high. Some of them can even dive and get their prey in under 2 seconds. But the one thing that makes an aerial bird a bird is being able to fly.First, the bird usually starts by taking off. To take off it starts by walking a few steps and then jumping. Once it has jumped a little bit it starts flapping its wings. The flapping of the wings creates a subtle lift which then moves the bird upwards.
Gliding In The Air.
Once in the air, the bird will extend its wings and start gliding. Once gliding it will probably flap its wings a few times to retain its altitude. It can stay in the air for a long time because the air provides lift even when the bird is gliding.
Diving Down.
Once the bird has gotten somewhat close to its destination, it will dive down. It contracts its wings and points its nose down to dive. Once that is done, it will start to rapidly gain speed. Once low enough it will pull upwards to not crash.
Catching Prey.
When the bird is flying, it will use its eyesight to spot prey below. Once it is low enough to snatch its prey, it will grab it with its talons and take it to a safe place to eat.
Conclusion.
In conclusion, the bird is a very interesting animal. They can fly extremely fast. some can get and eat its prey in less than 5 seconds. It is an amazing creature and one of the coolest animals in the world.
